Job Description
The position is located in Pune, India, and will report to the CCB lead. It is specific to work related to CCB Data and API framework. The candidate will work independently with business owners, global teams, and stakeholders. They will apply their skills and knowledge of tools to develop innovative solutions that meet client and business needs. The person will be involved in various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding, unit testing, review, integration testing, QA testing cycle, and release-deployment cycle for services under the client insight platform.
The role provides an opportunity to learn all the development processes followed in the software sprint cycle, as well as QA and release cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Lead and Business owners to understand requirements.
- Take ownership of delivering projects through the full development lifecycle.
- Create performance-efficient JAVA/J2EEE and UI code, with experience in design and development.
- Understand deployment/entitlement strategies.
- Interact with internal clients.
- Develop and manage a communication program to keep partner organizations informed of progress, conducting periodic reviews with work stream Business Leads and Key Stakeholders.
- Contribute to the formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how different areas of business integrate to achieve business goals.
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations.
- Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and the protection of Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to policies, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently. Effectively supervise the activity of others and establish accountability for those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
- Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Desired Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Core JAVA, SQL, Oracle PLSQL, Unix scripting, Kafka, DB Design, Spring, Spring Boot, Mongo/Elastic, Angular/REST Latest, Big Data Hadoop, Caching tech, and GIT.
- Experience with CI/CD Pipeline automation.
- Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Hands-on experience with MicroServices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
