Your Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Exceptional programming skills and proficiency in languages like Python/C/C++
- Expertise in Networking – mastery of L2 (Ethernet, VLAN, Bridges, STP), L3 (IP, IPv6, ARP, ICMP), L4 (TCP, UDP) concepts, and knowledge of network management (SNMP, XML, NMS, EMS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, TCL) and familiarity with Database technologies
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities to address complex system and solution-level issues
- Motivated self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with Linux system configuration, OpenStack, Virtual Machines, Network Functions Virtualization, and Software Defined Networking
The Job:
- Install, test, and verify multiple components to ensure products meet release requirements and conform to specifications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for features under examination.
- Execute tests within set schedules and provide accurate test status reports to ensure quality standards are met.
- Review and analyze project documentation to assess product testability.
- Report defects with clear communication on customer impact and provide information to assist with investigation and resolution.
- Configure and troubleshoot the integrated solution under test.
- Develop test cases for functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditions, understanding how features are implemented.
- Collaborate on project risk analysis, testing scope, and scheduling.
- Automate test cases using established frameworks.
- Evaluate customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in test coverage.
