Job Description
Google is currently seeking candidates for the position of Software Engineer – Front End (Google Cloud).
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Developing code for product or system enhancements.
- Taking part in design reviews with colleagues and stakeholders to make informed decisions about technology choices.
- Evaluating code produced by fellow developers, offering constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (such as style guidelines, code integrity, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Enhancing existing documentation and educational materials, and adjusting content to reflect product/program updates and user input.
- Investigating and resolving product or system issues by analyzing their sources and assessing their impact on hardware, network, and service quality.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in software development, proficient in one or more programming languages (like Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- At least 1 year of experience working with data structures and algorithms.
