Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Customer Satisfaction: Our foremost objective is to maintain a customer-centric approach that aims to delight our clients in every interaction.
- Technical Support Expertise: Our dedicated team responds promptly to customer inquiries through calls and chat sessions, addressing issues and troubleshooting Alcon Medical Devices with technical precision.
- Efficient Problem Resolution: We provide efficient tech support by resolving technical issues during customer interactions or by appropriately triaging them for further assistance.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Each customer interaction is meticulously documented through the creation of Service Cases within Alcon’s Service Management System (ServiceMax).
- Customer Follow-Up: We take the initiative to follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and the successful completion of the support services provided.
- Field Service Coordination: For issues requiring on-site assistance, we dispatch Service Cases to our country Field Service Engineers (FSEs) responsible for specific customer accounts.
- Expertise and Compliance: Our team maintains up-to-date knowledge in various domains, including:
- Technical details of products within our skill sets
- Company policies, departmental processes, and work instructions
- Local and international regulations, guidelines, and directives
- Eye anatomy, common diseases, and ophthalmic procedures
- Eye-related terminology and abbreviations
- Safety databases and reporting tools We also report potential safety issues, emerging trends, or concerns to management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Our success is measured by several key performance indicators, including:
- Meeting metrics for call volume, response times, and schedule adherence individually
- Achieving group-defined targets for customer satisfaction
- Meeting product-specific phone-fix ratio goals
- Documenting all service interactions accurately within ServiceMax (Alcon’s Service Management System).
