Job Summary

In order to support our exceptional teams dedicated to product development and contributing to our company’s growth, we are seeking to hire an Analyst for GBS Procurement in Chennai, India.

The Analyst for GBS Procurement will be responsible for the prompt and accurate processing of purchase orders within a fast-paced work environment. Additionally, they should possess exceptional stakeholder service skills and thrive in a team setting, consistently meeting demanding performance targets.

A typical day in this role includes:

1. Managing procurement activities for C class items.
2. Overseeing the end-to-end purchasing cycle, which encompasses requisition to purchase order creation, sending purchase orders to suppliers, confirming purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating supplier payments.
3. Collaborating with vendors to obtain real-time delivery status updates for materials.
4. Ensuring the timely completion of the Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report for review.
5. Acting on Pull-in, Push-out, and Cancellation requests as per the MRP report to achieve KPI targets.
6. Maintaining inventory levels at the optimal level based on site requirements.
7. Coordinating with internal business partners (requestors) and suppliers for any changes to purchase orders.
8. Managing the supplier database.
9. Addressing shortages or excesses and escalating such issues as necessary.
10. Coordinating and following up on urgent receipts, managing past dues, and resolving receiving-related challenges.

The qualifications and experience we are seeking in potential candidates are as follows:

• Education: Diploma, B.Com, B.B.A, or B.Sc.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years (Procurement / Supply Chain) (although not mandatory)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (required)
