Job Description
Job Summary:
The Technician holds responsibility for conducting technical reviews, executing tasks, maintaining systems, and providing customer support while ensuring compliance with established procedures and the timely completion of contracted tasks.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Oversee, execute, and offer support for IT projects aimed at identifying, designing, and implementing innovative technological solutions to enhance business operations.
Develop rapport with business users, engage in daily interactions with business management, key stakeholders, and serve as a trusted advisor on IT matters.
Provide comprehensive support for critical business applications from inception to the end-of-life stage, encompassing product management, implementation, training, ongoing support, and transitioning to new technologies or platforms.
Strive to acquire necessary business, technical, and functional skills required for the role.
Adhere to Flowserve’s policies and procedures.
Fulfill other assigned duties.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Prior experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Programmer, or similar roles.
Proficiency in supporting diverse IT systems and familiarity with issue resolution processes, including third-party resolution tools like Unisys.
Engagement in complete application lifecycle experiences, from defining requirements to providing production support.
Possess a customer-oriented attitude and strong communication skills for interacting with non-technical business personnel.
Excellent skills in business engagement, organization, and communication.
Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix team structure.
Possession of a relevant BS or BA degree and/or 0-2 years of relevant experience.
