Minimum Eligibility
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience in the aforementioned fields.
Preferred Expertise
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Ability to balance art and science when visually communicating information using tools such as Tableau, Superset, ggplot, D3.
- Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries and familiarity with cloud-based databases, including but not limited to, Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
- Experience using Alteryx.
- Proficiency with analytics programming languages such as Python, R, etc.
- At least one year of experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Ideally, the candidate should have experience setting up and maintaining Airflow jobs.
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations to a diverse audience, including senior management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Promote automation of repetitive tasks and the creation of tools instead of ad hoc analyses to make insights available to everyone who can benefit from them.
- Provide cost optimization automation and analytics solutions by quickly gaining a deep understanding of the business and how data flows throughout the organization.
- Develop close relationships with business stakeholders and act as a liaison between business users and data engineers to understand business issues and provide scalable end-to-end solutions that ensure accurate business insights.
- Work with big data solutions, understand data modeling, ETL pipelines, and business intelligence solutions.
- Maintain airflow pipelines and address data issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with other technology teams and business subject matter experts to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources.
