Job Description
ServiceNow is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Software Quality Engineer.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing automation test frameworks.
- Gather and present quality metrics obtained from test execution.
- Collaborate with developers to devise specific testing strategies for newly developed features and automate them.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, execute them, and implement automation where applicable.
- Assist engineering teams in resolving issues related to applications and development/testing environments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Possess 0+ years of experience in technologies relevant to ServiceNow, with a demonstrated proficiency in coding and delivering high-quality results.
- Proficient in working with various automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, and other open-source projects.
- Familiarity with the agile methodology for software development teams.
- Understanding of multiple testing techniques, such as performance, unit, integration, and automated testing, along with the ability to leverage them effectively. This includes identifying and addressing any issues uncovered during testing.
- Competence in utilizing tools like IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and system administration/Unix tools to facilitate daily tasks.
