Job Description

As a Graduate Trainee in the Electrification business area for the Smart Power division in Hyderabad, India, you will report to the IS Manager and be tasked with developing and enhancing comprehensive software modules within the assigned software engineering function. This involves working on platforms and application management.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate proficiency in relevant software engineering competencies.
2. Deliver software components for platforms, applications, or solutions with appropriate supervision.
3. Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, covering requirements, conceptualization, prototyping, design, coding, testing, release, and subsequent maintenance and operations.
4. Adopt agile software development practices for iterative and incremental software delivery.
5. Stay informed about state-of-the-art technologies and concepts in your competency area, proposing creative ideas for improvement.
6. Develop highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables, supported by the right amount of documentation.

Your Background:

1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
2. Possess knowledge of VB.net/C# or Object-Oriented-based software development.
3. Familiarity with SQL/RDBMS and electrical systems is advantageous.
4. Familiarity with .Net Core and WPF-based application development.
5. Proficiency in web API development.
