Job Overview:
The System Engineer will assume responsibility for the design of Control, Protection, and Substation Automation Systems utilized across diverse voltage levels in both Indian and international contexts. These systems cater to a range of customers, including Central/State/Private Utilities, Industries, and Infrastructure power systems.
The incumbent will oversee the entire project design lifecycle, encompassing key phases such as comprehending client requirements, preparing detailed design documentation and calculations, obtaining design/documentation approval from customers, placing orders for necessary materials, and providing support to the Project Management/Factory/Commissioning team to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Job Description:
• Engage in the design engineering of Control, Protection, and Automation systems/panels.
• Prepare Basic/Detailed design documentation, including control and protection layouts, bills of materials, schematic preparations, configuration architecture, and requisite documentation specified in the project scope.
Utilize existing CAD systems to facilitate design documentation.
• Conduct discussions with customers for drawing approval and resolution of queries.
• Initiate material procurement, fabrication, and wiring of systems under the designated scope by coordinating with the factory.
• Provide support to the Sales, factory, and commissioning teams as needed.
Eligibility Criteria / Skill Sets:
• Freshers with an M.Tech/B.Tech. in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with relevant experience.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrate agility as a learner and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Exhibit critical thinking, quality consciousness, and proficiency in reasoning and problem-solving.
• Display flexibility and adaptability in various work scenarios.
• Have a solid understanding of basic computer applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
