As part of this role, you will:
- Contribute to a high-quality codebase, focusing on scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs handling significant request loads.
- Utilize modern languages like Scala, Kotlin, ReactJS, and C#, along with data technologies such as Kafka and Spark, within an agile development framework.
- Implement cutting-edge CI/CD and testing methodologies to ensure seamless operations and zero downtime.
- Consider the complete product lifecycle, from defining requirements and technology selection to coding standards, agile development, testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
Qualifications for Success:
To excel in this position, you should have:
- Ongoing pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Understanding of Object-oriented and/or Functional programming fundamentals.
- Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Strong English communication skills.
- A strong desire to learn quickly.
Preferred Skills:
We are particularly interested if you have:
- Practical experience with Scala, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, or C#.
- Previous involvement in developing back-end applications and services, with knowledge of system scaling basics.
- Familiarity with data platforms like MS SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop, acknowledging unique data needs across applications.
- Experience with automated CI/CD systems, commitment to test-driven development, familiarity with clean software architectures, and understanding of SOLID principles.
- Proficiency in core engineering infrastructure tools like Git for source control, TeamCity for Continuous Integration, and Puppet for deployment.
