Job Description

S&P Global Off Campus Hiring 2026 – Data Quality Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular audits to maintain the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data while following established quality standards across all workflows.
• Review, interpret, and handle data in line with defined business rules and operational procedures.
• Detect and address data quality concerns to ensure set quality targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with the data research team to guide training efforts and rectify quality-related issues.
• Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve overall data integrity.
• Design and carry out data cleansing initiatives to maintain high-quality datasets.
• Investigate and identify the root causes of data errors and inconsistencies.
• Evaluate the business impact of data quality challenges and suggest sustainable, long-term solutions.
• Analyse the scope and complexity of issues to develop effective resolution strategies.
• Proactively contribute ideas and improvements that strengthen data quality practices.
• Actively participate in team discussions, mentoring activities, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Understanding of the workflows and processes followed by the BD Operations team.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities, including interacting with clients through phone and email.
• A positive mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving capabilities and a creative approach to challenges.
• Ability to take responsibility and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Awareness of Capital Markets and Investment Management organizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic SQL.
• Experience conducting online research and gathering information from official or government-related sources and company websites. Familiarity with financial services concepts and terminology is an advantage.
