Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Power Plant Controller and SCADA functionalities, including both hardware and software aspects.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Technical Leads on turbine control solutions.
  • Understand, implement, and test control code changes following guidelines.
  • Participate in implementation and functional reviews.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on controller performance issues and provide solutions.
  • Develop solutions for turbine enhancements for non-standard product requests and service solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Controls, Instrumentation & Controls, Mechatronics, Electro-mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on control systems.
  • 0-1 years of experience with simulation/modeling tools such as MATLAB Simulink.
  • High proficiency in mathematical modeling of electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of control design and control tuning using a model-based control approach.

Competencies

  • Strong understanding of control theory.
  • Programming skills in C++, SQL, R, and MATLAB.
  • Expertise in control system modeling, controller design, controller tuning, and controller verification.
  • Good knowledge of power generation concepts.
  • Understanding of aerodynamics.
