Vestas Off Campus Hiring 2024 – Trainee Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage the enrichment of parts and tools by adhering to the complete enrichment workflow in alignment with business requirements.
- Support the enrichment of materials and tools by following established procedural guidelines. Assess service order data to determine the need for new task lists.
- Recommend updates or creation of task lists and perform quality reviews of existing ones.
- Generate task lists in SAP and Windchill based on material usage from service orders related to turbine maintenance.
- Develop both scheduled and unscheduled task lists—local and global—within SAP and Windchill platforms.
- Create configurable task lists in PTC Windchill that include operations required for periodic maintenance of turbines deployed worldwide.
- Assess and respond to task list update requests received via Service ECOs and ServiceNow tickets from various business units (SBUs) or Shared Delivery Centers (SDCs).
- Continuously maintain operation lines within process plans in PTC Windchill to reflect updates.
- Review incoming part lists required for creating or updating task and configurable task lists, ensuring data completeness as per Vestas’ master data standards.
- Collaborate with specialists responsible for task and configurable task lists to address and resolve any process-related issues.
- Integrate local task list requirements into global configurable task lists in PTC Windchill to support standardization throughout Vestas’ value chain and material usage in service orders.
- Follow established guidelines when implementing specifications within configuration management systems, SAP ERP, and PLM platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Entry-level or up to one year of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) support tasks, with an understanding of key master data elements used in supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with Excel and SQL databases is desirable.
- Any prior industrial exposure will be considered a plus.
