Role: Associate Cloud Engineer – Intern
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining DevOps tools and processes to support continuous integration and continuous Cloud deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate manual processes and enhance the efficiency of Cloud applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance of Cloud applications, services, and systems.
- Help manage cloud-based infrastructure and services using platforms like AWS.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of scripts and automation tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps practices and tools.
- Work closely with developers and SDETs, contributing as part of the given Sprint cycles.
- Create and maintain comprehensive internal documents and accurate bug report descriptions.
- Help recreate and troubleshoot issues, conducting post-release/post-implementation reviews.
- Use the automation framework for automating feature tests and propose changes to the framework to enable feature validations.
- Share joint ownership and accountability for product quality and release.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes; familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Terraform is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in DevOps practices using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Cybersecurity experience through certificate programs or electives during academics is an added advantage.
