Role: Associate Cloud Engineer – Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining DevOps tools and processes to support continuous integration and continuous Cloud deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate manual processes and enhance the efficiency of Cloud applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance of Cloud applications, services, and systems.
  • Help manage cloud-based infrastructure and services using platforms like AWS.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of scripts and automation tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Work closely with developers and SDETs, contributing as part of the given Sprint cycles.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive internal documents and accurate bug report descriptions.
  • Help recreate and troubleshoot issues, conducting post-release/post-implementation reviews.
  • Use the automation framework for automating feature tests and propose changes to the framework to enable feature validations.
  • Share joint ownership and accountability for product quality and release.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes; familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Terraform is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in DevOps practices using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Cybersecurity experience through certificate programs or electives during academics is an added advantage.
