Position Overview:
The Associate Web Developer plays a key role in offering technical expertise, streamlining processes, and enhancing system functionalities to simplify business operations. This position involves contributing to software development initiatives, including the enhancement of Medeco’s internal database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and convert them into specific software requirements.
- Support the creation of specifications for database enhancements.
- Design and develop web applications with multiple features, focusing on user-friendly web pages, intuitive interfaces, form management, and robust backend solutions.
- Implement programming solutions that integrate with other applications.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Collaborate within a team to meet deadlines for project rollouts.
- Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Work with large datasets, optimize queries, and create tools for data visualization and export (e.g., CSV, PDF).
- Offer programming and IT support for customer experience projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience:
- Recent graduate or up to one year of hands-on experience with programming in C#/.NET/React.js.
Preferred Skills and Tools:
- Proficiency in MVC frameworks and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Angular, Blazor, or similar.
- Experience with UI tools such as Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices is a plus.
