Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute significantly to our team by designing and implementing innovative solutions while ensuring high-quality delivery through all phases of the development lifecycle. This role involves working in an agile environment, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and supporting the deployment of these solutions into production. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with various teams, gather and clarify requirements, and influence architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance scalable, reliable distributed systems using functional programming techniques.
- Analyze business requirements and create detailed functional and technical design documents.
- Design and implement robust testing procedures for APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns, covering end-to-end and integration test scenarios.
- Contribute to design reviews by offering insights on functionality, product designs, schedules, and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive, high-quality workflow.
- Conduct code reviews and oversee the team’s development and testing processes.
- Explore new technologies through proofs of concept and technical evaluations.
Work Arrangement
This position follows a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work both remotely and from the office. Typically, employees are expected to be on-site 2-3 days per week, depending on leadership and business requirements, aiming for approximately 50% on-site work.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE, BTech, MTech), graduating in 2023 or 2024.
Preferred:
- Up to 1.6 years of experience in the technology industry, with strong coding and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with web applications, web services, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, unit testing, shell scripting, and RDBMS is advantageous.
- Experience with Continuous Integration, test/code coverage, and working in various methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude to collaborate effectively across teams.
