As a Python Automation Engineer with expertise in AWS or Azure, your role involves creating, implementing, and managing automation solutions that leverage cloud platforms. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the reliability of cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate cloud resource provisioning and management tasks.
- Implement automation solutions integrated with AWS or Azure services to optimize operations.
- Design and execute automated test strategies for cloud-based applications.
- Monitor automated processes, identify issues, and ensure seamless functionality.
- Continuously enhance and refine cloud automation workflows for improved performance.
- Document automation workflows and provide training for team members.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience developing Python automation scripts.
- Foundational knowledge of writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation.
- Practical experience working in AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Proficiency in AWS tools and services (e.g., CloudFormation, Lambda, Glue, API Gateway, S3, VPC, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Analytical skills and troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in AWS Architecture or Development.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and collaborating with Product Owners.
- Exposure to Business Intelligence tools for data analysis.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Previous operational experience with other cloud service providers, such as GCP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and scalability improvements.
