What success looks like in this role:
- Builds foundational knowledge and develops skills within a chosen area or field.
- Completes assigned tasks under the guidance of a supervisor, manager, or senior team member.
- May participate in a structured work-study arrangement (such as alternating semesters), attending academic or vocational training during off-work periods.
- Gains exposure and practical understanding in technical domains such as technical support, software development, data analysis and reporting, networking/infrastructure, or DevSecOps/cloud support. Typical responsibilities may include:
Technical Support
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware or software-related issues.
- Support network connectivity troubleshooting and basic system configuration tasks.
- Help manage and maintain organizational devices.
Software Development
- Write simple code or scripts for internal applications and tools.
- Support software testing activities to identify defects.
- Participate in code reviews while learning version control and secure coding standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Help gather, clean, and analyze data.
- Create basic reports, dashboards, or visual presentations using tools such as Excel or PowerPoint.
Networking and Infrastructure Support
- Assist in setting up and configuring network equipment.
- Monitor network performance and help identify potential problems.
- Support troubleshooting of hardware, security, and infrastructure-related issues.
DevSecOps
- Assist in automating repetitive tasks using scripts or tools.
- Support cloud environment management activities.
