HERE Technologies Off Campus Hiring – Trainee
What’s the Role?
The trainee will undergo training to gain insights into market trends, business use cases catered to by HERE, and the usage of proprietary tools and software. The training will also include foundational knowledge of navigation attributes within the HERE digital map database. This position involves learning specific guidelines, procedures, and structured processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop proficiency in proprietary tools and perform specific tasks.
- Utilize proprietary tools and reference materials to assign essential navigation attributes, such as:
- Roadway names and addresses
- Speed categories and functional classifications
- Intersection coding and restricted driving maneuvers
- Administrative and postal coding, as well as other attribute entries
- Ensure the database adheres to established specifications, quality standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Complete assigned tasks within designated timelines (may include team-based assignments).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure maps meet stability, accuracy, and regional mapping standards.
- Follow organizational guidelines for work completion, reporting, time management, and leave tracking.
Who Are You?
- Holds a bachelor’s degree (engineering graduates such as BE/B.Tech are not eligible).
- Possesses basic computer skills and familiarity with office software tools.
- Pays close attention to details.
- Demonstrates basic analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking abilities.
- Has foundational written and verbal communication skills.
