BCG is actively seeking exceptional candidates who possess both experience and a passion for the role of Junior Data Analyst within the Survey Operations & Analytics (SOA) team. Situated within the Knowledge Practice Area, this team is a pivotal component of BCG’s overarching strategy to provide clients with enduring value and impactful solutions.

The core focus of SOA is to provide adept support to BCG case teams engaged in client projects involving primary data collection through surveys. The team boasts comprehensive capabilities that facilitate engagement across the entire spectrum of primary research, extending to BCG case teams and external service providers. A significant emphasis is placed on employing advanced analytics to survey data, thereby generating invaluable insights. Furthermore, the team adeptly constructs models, simulations, and visualizations to optimize the utility and influence of these analytical outputs.

Visual Presentation: Demonstrates an inherent knack for graphical representation of analytical outputs, harnessing visualization tools including PowerPoint, Tableau, and Market Sight to convey analytics results in a compelling and insightful manner.

Global Engagement: Proficient in working with virtual, multicultural global teams, effectively navigating cross-time zone collaboration.

Your Background:

Education:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree with a track record of high academic achievement in analytics, data science, or mathematics, supplemented by relevant work experience in market/consumer research data analytics, which could encompass projects, coursework, or internships.

Candidates with educational backgrounds in Statistics/Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, or Mathematics will be given preferential consideration.

Experience:

Bring forth 0-1 years of pertinent experience within the realm of market research and data analytics.

Demonstrate adeptness in analytical capabilities encompassing data management, processing, and analysis.

Display proficiency in tools such as Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Additional knowledge of tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, and SQL would be advantageous.

Exhibit strong database and analytical tool management skills.

Demonstrate a robust ability to engage with geographically dispersed teams within a fast-paced matrix organizational structure, showcasing effective prioritization and stakeholder expectation management.
