Job Description – Bentley Systems Recruitment 2024 – Software Engineer II (Automation)
We are seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Automation Development, who will report directly to the Manager of Software Development. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and is based in our Pune office.
Responsibilities:
Collaborating with a team within an Agile framework, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in Software Development. Developing new and enhancing existing Automation Frameworks and Tools for large enterprise applications. Participating in the design and implementation of new features and frameworks for Automation. Ensuring adequate Code Coverage for Automation and guiding the Development and QA teams in writing additional Automated Tests to improve Code Coverage. Addressing defects and enhancing applications. Upgrading and maintaining existing software and web services tests. Operating within a dynamic DevOps-oriented software development environment. Understanding functionalities of both web and desktop applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
BE/MS in Computer Science & Engineering (ONLY) with 0-5 years of experience in Automation Tools Development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and understanding of OOPS principles.
Familiarity with Unit Testing tools, Mock Testing Tools, and Code Coverage Tools.
Understanding of Scenario and Integration Testing. Knowledge of WPF, Telerik. Strong debugging skills. Thorough understanding of Design Patterns and Memory Management.
Familiarity with UML Diagrams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with automation tools like Test Complete and WinAppDriver is advantageous.
Experience in utilizing Cloud Services and REST interfaces. Experience working in Microsoft Azure or with Azure services.
Understanding of Agile Scrum Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps processes.
Capability to learn a wide range of technologies. Understanding of various Code Coverage Tools. Ability to identify gaps, write new Automated Tests, and maintain them.
Effective communication skills. Excellent teamwork skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and functional areas.
